I have a WH1C can i adjust the waste gate to go down to 10psi? This turbo came off a 94 cummins and it's going in my 5.0 mustangs so 17psi might be alittle much for my car and i am hoping not to have to buy an external waste gate.

 

That turbo seems a bit big for a Mustang, but the only way to go would be a seperate wastegate, if it were my project.

 

it's just the right size should spool to about 10psi by 2500....i know a few guys who use the HX35 with great success.

 

Just look in your Yellow Pages for a diesel truck turbo shop, and drop by and get the lighter spring for your application.

 

thanks i didn't think of that...i know there is a diesel perfomance shop a few miles away i will give them a call and see if they can do it or if they know anyone. Also how much power is this turbo (WH1C) good for on a Diesel i am guessing around 300ish
