I don't have a book on my 97 12valve, but have been asked when I had the valves adjusted last. What is the recomended intervals for this, I've got 125k miles, and it has never been done. I had assumed they were hydraulic lifters, and wouldn't need adjusting. Thanks for any input.

Nope, solid lifters. It isn't that hard to do but 5 and 6 can be a little difficult to reach. There is an article about it in the tech section.
