Value of a 12V

Long story short, 97 12V totaled. The motor has about 225K on it and I'm wondering what I can get for it complete, turbo and all?

Two years ago I asked an insurance adjuster the same question.
He said depending on the mileage that a used 12 valve engine could go for as much as $5000

$5,000, maybe with less than 50,000 miles and complete, turbo, injection pump, everything, then i can see that. you can get a rebuild, without the dressings, for that much or less without the core charge.

Partsman , i would say complete around 1200? A friend of mine has a salvage yard and he has several that have been sitting for awhile. I asked why and he said No one needs a cummins they always call wanting a Powerstroke. I got my 12V from him with 50k for free...
