Hi,

I am somewhat looking to upgrade to an extended cab now that I have a baby. I found a 98 12v QC SB (prefer longbed and 5 speed, but have an auto now) 4x4 automatic with 205k miles. Interior is in good shape, body isn't bad except rust on the bottom of the front doors (entire length of door). and a couple large scratches. It has power seat, locks, windows, cloth interior and could probably use some tires.

Asking price is $5900, how does that sound?

I live about 15 miles from Newark and I would say that is a steal for around here if the truck is mechanically sound..I searched for months and months before buying my truck and still paid close to top dollar..My uncle lives in heath and just paid $6700 for a 96 ext cab longbed with a rough rough body

 

I bought a similar truck w similar milage for $9k. California rust and scratch free w leather interior were the only big differences. That is the first year of the quad cab and the last year of the 12v, a very hard to find combination that is desirable. Jump on it.

Paid $4k for my 2500 4X4 QCLB. I would think ANY quad in better than average shape would be worth that $5900. Keep looking, they are out there.
