v10 to 12 valve swap

Looking at a southern v10 1997 Ram 2500. Own 94 northern rusted 12valve. How much work to swap the motors and auto trans? Doug 7f

Going to be tough unless you use all mechanical and wiring from your 94. 94-95 used the RH trans, 96 up the RE.

As far as the rest, straight bolt in, cabs, etc are the same, just a pain to move all the wiring.

Yep, should be easier, wiring "should" be the same inside cab, but you would need to invest in a 1995 service manual to be sure.

35 bucks at Genos Garage, cheapest info you will ever find.

"95 should be less wiring.

"96 up will be OBDII.
