allright I found a used banks pyro on ebay for about 70 and it has the probe as well. is this something that I should not worry about or will I get burned on the deal? also I found a website www.expertdiesel.com/ben.htm where this guy "turned up the pump" and totally anhilated his pistons. Is what they are talking about advancing the timing or what. Not really sure about what they are talking about. and slightly concerned.

The damage on the truck in question was caused by sliding the stock cam plate full forward without adjusting the governor arm. The arm went under the plate. Didn't help that he also didn't have a pyro.
