Updated timing gear torque spec

I am working from a five year old Chilton book, and have looked around DTR for the updated torque spec with no luck can someone post it for me.

Old = 144 ft. lbs.
new = 160 ft.lbs.

Just remember to clean the pump shaft AND the inside of the gear before reassembly. Also make sure they are dry too. Something like BRAKLEAN works fairly well.

I use blue loctite and set at 150 foot lbs. The loctite lubes the threads and results in the same torque as the 160 lbs dry. I have never had one come loose with the loctite either.

I forgot I also use blue loctite.
But I still Tq. 160.
