twin turbo oil drain

Question twin turbo oil drain

I almost have my twin setup done, and was wondering if you have to pull the pan to add anouther oil drain for the second turbo? any info would be appreciated

i have seen it done both ways, "t"ing into the stock return line and adding a new one to the pan. the 98 and up motors have a freeze plug that can be pulled and a return added there.

You can weld in a pipe bung at the rear of the pan about 1'' down from the top lip. All this can be done in the chassis.

AZGEARPRO:

On my Scheid Twin Turbo System, my drain lines are
set-up similar to what "gunracer 1" described, although
Scheid Diesel increases the size of the line and drain to
accomodate the increased amount of oil.

I have been running this system for almost six (6) months
now with no problems.
