wheel wander

any suspension guys here? my 96 4x4 is starting to have steering wheel wander. the truck has 107,000 miles on it. the wheel really wanders when at highway speeds. it is starting to remind me of my ford f250 powerchoke days. any ideas what to look at would be appreciated.

I recently got a 95 4x4. Ive been going thru it with a scrutinizing eye and found it in need of some repairs. Also it had some pulling/wander issues. Aftering studying up here I found several areas of typical maint or failure areas so I took it in for front axle U joints and and alignment. The shop wouldent touch it cause the inner seals are leaking but they rotated the tires putting the 2 near new fronts on the rear and the 2 unmached 50% worn outs up front. The thing drives like a new truck now, no more wander or pull. I also replaced the original shocks a few days ago. Cant belive the difference. Guess some tires suck even when their new.
