I am looking for a transmission shop in the southern California area that is very familiar with the 47RE automatic transmission. Preferably close to the Anaheim area, but willing to drive for expert service and knowledge.

I would contact one of our members, Jim Lane, he hangs over on the first gen forum. He is somewhere fairly near you, and has documented his transmission work on there, he is also VERY picky about his stuff. Any trans shop that he would use or recommend would just about have to be nirvana.
