Phoenix Reman has a good rep around here. Cant say much from experience. If mine goes out that is where I will go with the free torque converter and all. Note I am not endorsing their product just want to know if anyone has had any good or bad experiences with that company.

That sounds like one heck of a deal, however once bombed the torque value increases quite easily especially when you get use to your power Plus when you install that 800 ft lb capable set up she'll have much more snap resulting in yes more bombs therefore creating a week link once again and yet another trans removal.

just my .02

Only problem is there is a core charge, might end up costing you a lot of money to have a spare hanging around.

Does anyone know what the core charge amounts to?

I'm thinking Txwelder should be the guinea pig for this "phxretrans" Let us know how it goes if you do in fact get one of these. The price is definately right!

If everyone will send some donated mods to definately kill my stock tranny I will gladly be the guinea pig on this deal. If anyone has the inclination to donate to the cause I will give a shipping address!
