Exclamation transfer case won't shift

so i shifted my transfer case into 4 low the other day and when i put it back in 2wd it wouldn't go as far fwd as it normally does, then i tried to shift through the entire pattern (2hi to 4low) when the shifter got to 4hi it was in the position it was normally in in 4low, but i couldn't get it to go into 4 low.

does anyone have any idea what could be causing this???

the shift rod might have loosened on the adjuster and just slide out of posistion, so the throw of the shifter would be off. Just check the rod that connects the shifter to the t-case under the truck, and on the shifter side there a adjuster nut thing, make sure it's tight, but also make sure it's posistioned to where u get the right shift pattern.
