trans pan drain and sensor couplings

Just thought I would share where I put the drain plug and sensor on my pan, came out nice and clean, I welded them on the inside of the pan then tacked a couple tacks outside for some strength. I also did the oil pan for a sensor, after I drained the pan I put very small constant flow of CO2 gas into the engine oil fill tube so a fire could not start in the pan as I welded on the half coupling.

Looks nice. I have a tranny temp gauge in the garage but never installed it. How well does yours respond? Does the needle move much?

Little bit more work than needed with a '95.
On the RH trannies all you need to do is swap the new sensor with the old one then trick the computer with a 1000 ohm resistor.
Better location for the sensor in the hot line out rather than the coldest location in the pan.
Nice to have a drain plug though.
