Talking Tranny's in...Thanks Tim!!!

Finally got my Goerend Brothers tranny in the truck thanks to TimInVa! We met up Saturday at his shop and were done in no time (despite my constant questions, LOL). Learned quite a bit about my truck in general and also how automatic transmissions work. Tim is a great guy and the job was done first rate. He even took the time to bump the star wheel up a couple of clicks to get some pre-boost fuel flowing. The transmission feels great, rock solid build, I wish I had had the time or money to do this earlier...especially since I didn't even have reverse for the last 3 months! (Nothing like trying to find pull through parking every where you go with a quad cab long bed truck that won't back up ) If you are in the area and need to get some tranny work done I highly reccommend pm'ing Tim and see if you can talk him into doing the job for you. Hopefully he can squeeze you in since now I have my eye on a new fuel plate, GSK, gauges,...and his twins sure are tempting Let the bombing begin!!!

Duff.....I also have a Goerend Bros tranny....Love it. It's my daily driver, and works flawlessly all the time...no ifs ands or buts. I even took my first whack at sled pulling over the weekend. WOT and I coudln't even feel it shift with the sled behind me! Amaizing! I was kinda worried about the Converter, because I've already puked a "good" brand converter just daily driving. After that...I'm no longer worried!

Guys...the only thing that worries me now is the cheapo plastic
tranny line connections I have right now. I need to look into changing them out for threaded fittings. I smile evry morning when I start my drive into work. Feels great!!!!
