Tranny/Transfer Case
Tranny/Transfer Case
Doing a project for school, wondering what the dimensions are on the bolts from the back of a NV4500 4WD, and the bolts on the front of a 47RE. Drawing an adaptor to put 2 trannys in. Bad idea, but it is only in theory, and it needs to get me through manufacturing class. Also, how does the torque converter bolt to the flex plate?
Do you need the bolt patterns? I happen to have an NV4500 sitting in the garage, which has same front bolt pattern as the 47re. So I could give you both patterns with just the NV4500.
Torque converter bolts to the back of the flywheel, with the bolts passing from the front of the flywheel through to threaded holes on the converter. I don't have a torque converter laying around, but I probably will this weekend if you still need it then.

Actually that would be great! By front bolt pattern do you mean where the transfer case meets the tranny? I do need the pattern on the bellhousing-like structure of the auto, and the pattern on the NV4500 though. I also need the pattern where the t-case bolts to the tranny. Whatever you have. Guess I need the torque converter too. lol Thanks for the help!
