Tranny shutter

I have a 96 stock truck with an automatic. It's been getting alot of shutter when I'm trying to just cruse at any speed above 50. I can accelerate or let off and it will stop. I'm told that the clutch in the TC is going bad. I had the name of a tranny shop in Pheonix AZ that sells recon trannys for $1,200.00 including the TC. I had a computer crash and lost his info. Any one have the name of that shop?. Or any info on what I should do to the tranny. If let go what can I expect out of the tranny, will it just quit or explode??? Thanks for all your help. Mike.

The name of the shop is Phoenix Reman Transmission Phone number 623-936-1500. Been thinking about one of those trannys so if you get one let us know how it goes. Good luck.

You may want to investigate some before your purchase. The auto in our trucks is one of the best places that we can improve it. A tighter tc can make a huge differance.
