The Trans in my truck is fairly new it has a shift kit and a better converter and I seem to be having problems with it shifting at WOT. The trans shop said that I had no error codes so they could only try to replace the TPS and see if that worked but I didnt like the price they quoted so heres what it does.. If you mash it from a stop it wont shift until you let up a hair, and the same from say 50 it will drop down a gear and stay there 3000 rpms until you let up a little. Now with the overdrive off and doing 50 mph if you mash it, it feels like it drops two gears and falls right on its face until I let up a little. Any Ideas? Is there adjustment or is time for a new TPS?? Thanks ahead!! I wish I would have been a member here when I had the trans done, I would have skipped it and went with the DTT. Oh well live and learn!
