tranny problem....

Well while passing a car the other day my truck seemed to jump out of gear. I got on the go peddle and the truck downshifted fine until I got next to the car I was passing, then the truck shook a little bit when it came out of gear and the RPMs redlined. As soon as this happened I left of the peddle and then got back on it and the truck ran and shifted fine. Also it did this for the second time 2 days ago. Both times it had done this I had been in the truck for about an hour driving back home from my parents house.

Also when the truck is cold and it mainly did this during cold mornings the truck would just shift out of gear as soon as I went anywhere from 20-200yds down the road from my driveway. The truck was cold and I had not gone over 25mph or hot rodded the truck at all. It's done this a handful of times, but not recently.

Any ideas???? PS I have about 15k on my suncoast tranny.

If it has a manual valve in the valvebody i bet thats it...
They're junk, throw them away.
The guy who did the VB work before on this truck had it put in and I have the same issue. I just never got around to fixing it yet.

Just for kicks, you check fluid level and everything?

Mine does it every once ina while in the mornings, you can mark a spot in my driveway and theres a 95% chance that @ that spot itll do it.

I thought it was somthing in the t-case becuase I had an issue with it until my father took it for a test drive and once it popped out of gear he free rev'ed it up until about 2500-3000 and it caught and went.

I added a quart and everything looked fine. As for my VB I have a transgo that Garmon reused when they installed my suncoast stuff.
