TPS question

Can anyone tell me if this is a TPS problem. While accelerating up a steep hill I press the throttle and rpm's barely move, now if I give it a quick pump of the throttle the rpm's jump about 500 and accelerate pretty good. Even on flat terrain I have tried it, and it seems to act the same. Thanks

Sounds like your tps is working properly, when you let off the throttle the torque convertor is unlocking as it should be. When you are going on a flat road try bumping your brake and it will do the same thing if working properly. Do a search on TPS adjustments as they do need readjusting from time to time.
