Its a 96 ctd 12 valve.
The throtle sticks when its 1/2 throttle or more,
The return spring is there and working as should, The lever is very stiff when you push it to WOT and try 2 pull it back, what is causeing this in the pump?? is it a ez fix or a high dollar one?

 

Did you move your fuel plate or anything? Almost sounds like your governor lever is getting stuck on the bottom of the fuel plate. Either that or maybe the linkage in the pump got screwed up. Hopefully someone that has had this problem before will chime in.

 

no, I did nothing. I was getting ready to start modding it.
It took off across the gas station in to there flowers before i got out of the confused/ shock and pushed in the clutch and shut the key off.
If you push it more than half way it sticks badly, It will some times stick for a sec thin let loose but lately when its down you have to pop the hood and pull it back up with your hand. weird Hugh?

 

cr787 was the winner on that one. The gov arm WaS going under the STOCk un tuched plate, Wierd!

 

I am glad you got it fixed, i was hoping that was all that was wrong with it and nothing more serious.

 

it inda makes me wonder why this happend, It was totaly untuched 12 v. with 120K

Ya, thats another thing, my cable has like two wire's left. gonna goo very very soon. Im gonn a call the dealer and ask if my truck is covered.
