things responsible for my white smoke???
Well guys, I have had similar problems during cold weather........and advanced my timing to 16 degrees this past weekend. On a cold morning (less than 45 degrees) I still get the miss at over 2K rpms. It will go away quick though.....the truck doesn't have to warm up all the way. I am thinking my truck is losing a little prime somehow or another, but not sure where/how. I have replaced my fuel lines, so I think either the steel fuel lines are suspect, or the check valve in my lift pump is the problem. I have the prefilter kit and need to do it next to make sure it is not the problem. Any other ideas?

I couldnt tell you without hearing it, but the truck wont want to rev up any more when it starts missing. I think you would know if you had a miss probably.
how does it drive with the timing advance? big difference? worth the hype?
