Is there a way to make the brake adjusters work?
Just as a curiosity question, is there a way to make the back brake adjusters actually work well by themselves?
I know it is important to make an effort to hit the brakes a little hard when rolling backwards as this is the ONLY way they are designed to work. They only self adjust in reverse rotation, not forward.
No problem manually bringing them up every month or so, but it is sometimes unhandy...

Hitting the brakes hard or going fast makes no difference at all.
What matters is that you come to a complete stop in reverse without letting up on the brakes at all.
Sometimes it works better to use the parking brake rather than the pedal.
I've gone over my brakes extremely well cleaning and lubing trying to get the self adjusters working with no luck on the passenger side. Driver's side works fine.
I just have to jack it up and adjust by hand at every oil change.
