I don't know about the specific differences. But when I called DTT sometime back, they asked me what year and I asked, "why does it matter?" They told me the electronics were different.

I think the 94 and 95 only have two electrical inputs to control lock up and O/D the latter trans have a seven pin connector and are definitely different

The 94 and 95's have an RH tranny not an RE the H= hydraulic shift other than lockup and the E= electronic shift=solenoid shifted.

Can anyone else elaborate? I ask because after I put the 96 47re into my 98, I am having TC lock up issues, I can feel it try to lock up, but it just can't quite do it hard enough. Even if I flip my mystery switch I can feel and hear it try to lock, but it just cant. (all solenoids are new) Only other thing I can think of is that when I adjusted my idle that I maybe threw off the TPS sensor. Could that mess with my TC lock up pressure?
