TV Cable

My trans has been shifting funny. From a dead stop it will start to roll then when I give it throttel it will go a little then go flat and RPMS go to 2000 and a little above and then it shifts. How ever if I let of the trottle and then push down on the trottle it is fine and goes like it should and shifts through the gears fine. When this first started I pulled the pan and changed the filter and fluid. The fluid was good did not smell burnt no shavings in the bottom of the pan.

I have done some searchs on here about trans problems and from what I have read I think it may be a sticking TV cable. So I want to check that first. Just want to know where it is located so I know that I'm looking at the right thing.
