Well, I must baby the truck because I got on it a few times and now I don't hear the noise. The guy I bought it from probably never got on it and I tend to have a light foot also, guess some injectors were getting fouled up. I'm heading out now to get some injector cleaner, figure it can't hurt to clean them more.
