Well its time to put the new breaklines, hard and rubber, on my truck befor the burst. I would really like to upgrade the front breaks though. As I understand it there are no upgrades avilable. I was thinking about trying to take the whole hub and knuckle off of a 2000-2002 4x4 2500 or 3500 truck and put it on my 98. Does anyone know if this will fit up or not? I have no idea how to do about finding out unless I can find a junk yard that is willing to pull knuckles off a 98 and a 200X so I can do a stare and compair.

 

I've encountered that problem before and what I did was call the dealer and check the part #'s to see if the different years were the same or not. Might check and see if the control arms are the same part #'s, if they are and the knuckles and rotors are diffrent then I would think the swap could work. Good luck.
