Re:Steering knuckles

Try http://www.dynatrac.com/

They specialize in heavy duty differentials and kits for rough 4x4 use. I know they ship to South America, so would imagine that Europe is no big deal for them.

Re:Steering knuckles

Do you need the ball joints? The part with the nut on it? Or do you need part that the ball joints are pressed into?

I think it's the balljoints- the part with the nut on them.
Do you know the price?

TIA

AlpineRAM

Re:Steering knuckles

Alpine, in another thread there is a link to a company in Ohio, I think, that has the slotted and cad-plated rotors.
i forget exactly where it was...If I get time, I will search.
george

Addendum: Here is the link to the rotors. I think that it was from the other site: ROTOR INFO: http://www.pureperf.com/

Re:Steering knuckles

Wonder what shipping would be? We could pick up two and send them if need be.

Re:Steering knuckles

We could do it as long as the shipping wouldn't be outrageous and eat up any savings he may realize by doing this. I'd be glad to help him out if it would work.

Alpine, did you find anything on either one of the sites that were posted?

Joel

Re:Steering knuckles

DD4 x4 : I found some things but on the rotors there is a whole lot of $$$ to save if you buy them at autozone -
Partsworldwide.com is about US$ 250 per rotor +shipping.
pureperf.com is a tad cheaper but I don't trust myself to select the right rotor for my application.
I don't know about shipping fees on normal postal service- should be less than 50US$ for this kind of parcel.

CH- you've got another IM.

Thanks for all the help- I really wouldn't know how to operate a truck like this over here. ..

AlpineRAM

Re:Steering knuckles

As far as the rotors, and ball joints you guys have that pretty much covered. I just did all that stuff to mine, but you might want to also change the universal joints in the half shafts in the front end. you are going to be in there to do the ball joints, and you really don't want to find out in a couple of months down the road that you need them. Also buy joints with grease fittings.
