Stripped AFC bolts
Well I did it I stripped the holes on the pump that the afc bolts thread into. They were going anyway one was already gone and the other went tonight its only the ones on the solenoid side. Anyone know what size tap to use and what size bolts or any other tricks? Im going to have to fix this ASAP cause im leaking a some oil.

Crap, I think I was cursed by reading this thread...guess what I did today? only one, the rear holding the solenoid on. Hopefully there won't be any oil leaks and I can leave it alone.

I just went with the next size up SAE. The next size up MM was to big. The SAE tap worked without using a drill bit, it was stripped to the right size. I mean to the .01" and I didnt have to drill out the solenoid with the next size MM I would have to. It was stripped by the PO. Its just a cover not a lug nut so take it easy. the stock top bolts are M6x25 and the bottom are M6x32. If stripped you can use a 1/4-20 bottom tap and a 13/64 (.194) drill bit. It can be taped with out drilling if you use the 1/4-20x1.25. To drill it out you will have to remove the brake master. I use allen head bolts. Makes it easy to get to the top front bolt under the injector lines.
