Welcome to DTR! One of your best friends is going to be the search feature. There are many, many posts on starting problems, slow starting, fuel etc that all could help alot of what you are experiencing.

Could be as easy as adjusting your idle speed or as complex as getting dirty with the fuel system. A few more symptoms would help out the cause.

Again, welcome, do some searching and we will be able to help you out.

man i dont think is that when you dont accelerate on it it keeps on going and going and going for like 7 8 secs and then it cranks up with a lot of effort and just by putting your foot on the gas and cranking it up does the job

Sounds to me like one of two things: as mentioned, perhaps the idle is too low...it should be around 750-800. Next, check the rubber fuel line between the lift pump and the IPump. You won't be able to see it; reach under and feel around for wetness (FUEL).

Yep...sounds like the idle. The adjustment can be tricky the first time.

Frank, mine did the same exact thing, when I bought my truck they had set the idle way too low.

I brought mine up to 750-800 and starting improved a bunch. I still ever so lightly give it throttle, but thats so it fires on the first revolution.
