Could anyone tell me a good place to buy a starter for a 95 dodge diesel.I see that there is a lot of price differences for new and rebuilt... but I was wondering where you guys buy yours. I see that they sell them on ebay and we all know where they came from. I'll tried to post a picture. Thanks

I've had excellent results with rebuilts from Napa.
Plus they have a lifetime warranty...

Phift!

A little bondo and shoe polish would fix that boy right up.

I would get it from fostertruck. You can find them easily online. It is a factory starter that has had larger contacts already installed so they won't wear out.

Buy a low mileage used one here and throw in some contacts for longer life. Id save my money as the oem is a good starter.

When you put in another starter, whatever you get, make sure it has the larger contacts in it and install the diode from Foster Truck, or similar, to stop feedback to the fuel solenoid.

ya I would also get a good used one and install the large contacts,They are great. Both of my trucks had what seemed like bad batteries, and I just swapped out the contacts and they start better than they ever have. You can get the brushplate as well from fosters, but its meant to be soldered in and the wires are huge,I actually welded the wires in on mine with a mig.Works great
