Stacks How hot?

Wonderign if any of you knew how hot your exhaust stacks get during opperation? I am looking to get some stacks but want them powdercoated black instead of chromed, and hope they dont get to hot for the powder.
Thanks

Hot enough to melt my former bosses' skin when he grabbed my stack in a parking lot thinking it wasn't realAfter a hard pull, I wouldn't even stand near my stack for 10 minutes or so.

I am thinking that they are going to be to hot. I think the powder should be good up to over 400 degrees. Anyone have a way to get me an acual number?
Thanks

They should be fine powder coated, if youre really worried do either a high temp enamel paint, or a high temp coating(like on headers)

They do get hot though

I built mine out of 3x6" box tubing, into 5" pipe and 6" stacks, I had a rhino ramp slide up against the box on my way home, melted the corner just a tad
