I have searched and didn't find what I was looking for. I have a 1996 ram 2500 4x4. I went from the stock 245/75/16 tires to 288/75/16 which at 65mph I am really going 70mph. My question is what trans ger or correction box do I need and where do I purchase it from? I am also running the stock 3.55 gear ratio.

Wish I knew for sure, I thought it was a re-flash type deal. I'm running 33's and I just know to match the speed limit on the speedo and I'm good.

 

A '96 can't be adjusted with a computer flash, you have to change the gear.

How about a 99 - can it be reflashed from 215 to 235-85R16?

 

Far as I know all Ram speedos newer than '98 can be corrected with a flash.
This applies to both 12 and 24 valve '98s.
