What do we think of these things? what about switching over from stock air filter to k/n air filter? Is it worth it? Will it increase my 13.5 mpg?

 

I don't own one but I will in the future. I have seen them in many bombed trucks (before and after install) and they really do lower EGTs. Scotty is a guy who takes pride in his work and continues to improve the quality of his products.<br><br>If you choose to cut the opening in the cowl, be prepared for some turbo noise. The Scotty 2 WORKs!!!!! It lower EGTs as much as the Pier's Super HX-40 and you could get 5 Scooty 2 for the price of the turbo. I just resently took my Scotty 2 housing off to clean the filter and was just running a RE-0880 K&amp;N filter open under the hood and even with temps in the teens I was seeing 150 deg hotter EGTs just cruising down the freeway.<br><br>As Scotty says it sucks CooOOOoooOOOOooL Air
