Runs real loppy... Timing? IP going?
Runs real loppy... Timing? IP going?
I've noticed in the last week or so that when I start my truck cold it runs really loppy and rough. It seems to idle ok, after it builds a little heat, but under light throttle like 1,100 to 1,500 rpm it sounds like it's got a miss or something. Any ideas. I put in new injectors about 6,000 miles ago. Thanks,
-Adam
Edit: I've noticed that it seems to start rougher after sitting for shorter periods of time than before too. Like a fresh cold start after sitting for only 2-3 hours.

Whose injectors? I know that when I put DDP 1's(50 hp) in my 95, it was real choppy in the same rpm range. 15* timing has taken almost all of it away, will only do it when it's super cold at low speed maneuvering now. I'm going to try a little more timing to see if that cures it up completely.
I'm not really sure what's in there for injectors, as they were in there when I bought the truck. But either way, I've driven it all winter with no problems untill now. It's warmer then it's been all winter, so I'm not convinced thats it. How much will a shop charge to adjust my timing?
