Well the head is off to the machine shop and i was going to get it fluxed or whatever it's called to check for cracks. Should i remove valves before I take it in? Also will i have to put new valve seals on it? (The lil rubber things under the springs?)

 

Are you going to grind the valves yourself? If so remove them it will save you some money and yes replace the valve stem seals Cummins part # is 3921640 and the ex and in are the same now so you need 12.
