remove 4.10 and install 3.54

remove 4.10 and install 3.54
i would like to remove the 4.10's and install 3.54's what do i have to do to correct the speedometer and keep the shft points like they are now?

Swap gears with me and I'll give you my speedo gear along with them to correct it. 
Honestly though, you just need to pull the speedo pickup out of the t-case and change the plastic gear to the correct one. About a 10 minute job...unless you have the new style pickup (not sure which year they started using it), in which case you need to plug into your PCM and change the settings.
