Rebuilt injector pump problems

This started out as blown head gasket (bubbles in radiator) so now I have replaced the head, put on upgraded 60# valve springs and since the new head had the smaller bore for injectors got 100Hp injectors. injector pump was leaking so had it rebuilt and moded for new injectors by a recommended shop while truck was down. also did the KDP while pump was off truck but made sure not to move the timing gears. Got everything back together and now the truck is really down on power no acceleration, torque or engine rev when driving. some smoke on acceleration about same as before. What could I have missed? Should i have advanced the timing while it was down?

What was the timing set to when you reinstalled the pump? Timing could have slipped too, check to see where it is now.

1990 w250 5 speed. Timing mark lines up to same mark before removal of pump.

Try posting in the first generation forum, might have more luck with your pump over there as they changed the injection pump for the 94-98 models, even though its still a 12V.
