do you pull the alum. housing off the back of the block to punch it out backwards?

Taking the seal housing off the block makes removing and installing the seal much easier. Downside is that the lower face attaches to the pan and you can rip the pan gasket when removing.

Took me about 10mins to get the old one out without removing the cover... Didn't want to risk the oil pan gasket..

about 15mins to get the new one in.. was very careful as I didn't have an extra...

Definitely worth it.. piece of mind a leaky rear main wont destroy a $2000 clutch

took a closer look and decided to just pull the seal by itself. wasn't bad at all. how good are LUK clutches? i've always considered them the best of the factory replacments but as far as holding up to a modified motor, how good are they? doesn't look like this one has been in there long. it feels good and strong from the driver seat. i personally only have about 25k on the truck. also, where do yall get new tranny mounts? mine is pretty mushy. thanks

I had a LUK cerametallic that I really really didn't like... Was all I could afford at the time and did hold 500 HP for me, but man driving especially towing with that thig SUCKED!

Pro Gold while holds less power I hear is more like stock to drive
