Really Dumb Lift Pump Question

I know this a really dumb question. i am still part of the 1st gen ear so 2gen stuff is out of my league. But i have a 2gen lift pump to put on my 1st gen and my question is... What line is the intake and waht one is the pressure line to the pump? i thought it was the line on the fuel/water separator but i dont know. Thanks

The filter is on the outlet (pressure) side of the lift pump.
