real quick question fuel plate direction q

i pulled mt afc housing to discover no plate, i got a ten plate to put in, dose the profile point to the front or back? thanks in advance

the profile goes to the front and center the plate in its slots hope this helps cliff

Wrong.. Plate goes in as Bill has shown... Profile faces toward the rear of the pump.

I get mixed up on it all the time.
When folks say slide the plate forward for more power it just seems like you should be sliding the profile forward, not away from the gov arm.
