Pump ID, got numbers.
Pump ID, got numbers.
Little Bro has a 95 12V that we suspect has had a engine swap. The pump numbers under the linkage plate are PES6P120A120R87275, then under that is 0402 736 841 then 56500 04654
These numbers are one over the other. Hopefully someone can tell what engine this pump is on.
Thanks in advance.

Ratsun, thanks.
The pump data plate is missing and this truck just seems a little peppy for a 175 hp engine and the pump has not been opened up, so no plate change. Plus, it has 300k miles, and the oil stays clean for 2500 miles or so after a change. Makes us think lower mileage engine.
The engine seems to be in excellent shape as compaired the rest of the truck which has required a lot of work to bring up to par. It's a early 95, and according to the VIN started life as a 2500, when he bought it, it had morfed into a 3500. It had been a farm/ranch truck with a lot of hard work, and poor maintenance.
We're gonna deal with the kdp, and set the timing, so need to verify the engine in order to time it correctly.
Thanks, RR

300K miles is mid-life for one of these that have seen hard use, and still new for those that are babied, so your oil should stay clean.
Since you do not know the pump profile, set the timing using a timing box and not by the plunger lift.
