Pulling the Transmission

Im getting ready to pull my transmission so im curious if anyone has made a jig to hold the transmission while its being pulled, second the Factory service manual doesnt say anything about pulling the transfer case before dropping the transmission, any thought or suggestions are appreciated

Dont know of a jig, but just put the jack on the pan and a chain around the tranny. And you need to drain the oil outta the transfercase and drop it first. Th cross memeber also has to be taken out.

sounds good, if you had to estimate it, how long would you say it took you to pull it?
I have plenty of good tools too.

Wheres a good place to get an overhaul kit, i see differences between each kit, and would like to make sure i get quality components. I have my Torque converter already picked out, i just need the overhaul kit.
