pulling head

pulling head

in the process of pulling my head to replace the head gasket and am having problems getting it out. just wondering if anybody had any tips or anything.

since nobody has any tips on that, maybe somebody could answer me this. my head has been o-ringed and i really need my truck but cant get a copper head gasket and rings for about a week. if i was to put a stock head gasket on and take it easy, would it work?

many run the 20k over for hitting the big boost with o rings.

turns out my truck has fire rings with groves cut in the head and block. could i run a marine or one of others till i can get the fire rings and new gasket?

no, you need another gasket that has been water jet cut and a new set of fire rings.
