Power increase with stock plate and starwheel

After I get my gauges, I'm having a friend move the housing forward (???) and tweaking the starwheel.

What kind of HP and torque increase can I expect from this?

I think it's around 40hp. The bigger hp numbers would with injectors. But it's surely worth the price, I drove around like that for 6 months before I got the good stuff.

nevrenufhp/ How are you egt's with all you have? I don't have all that and my egts are high. I also have the 16cm housing on my truck as do you. with the 4k gov kit and 370 injectors. you have a #0 plate and I'm sure I did not modify my #10 tp the amount of a #0.
DM01

Re:Power increase with stock plate and starwheel

How do I know what plate I have in my engine? It is listed on the engine tag as 210 HP. The engine came out of a garbage truck. Also from posting I have read, my EGT's seam to be higher that most. Empty I can push the EGT's to 1,100* just by running it up the on ramp of the Interstate. Cruising empty on the Interstate at 70 MPH my EGT's run around 700 to 750*. How go I get the EGT's more under control. Would bigger muffler/tail pipe be the next step in controlling EGT's?

To lower your egts you could go with a Scotty II intake and 4 inch exhaust. Those two should bring your egts way down in the "safe" range
Wheels

Re:Power increase with stock plate and starwheel

OK thanks guys

I'm a little concerned reagrding reliability. I see a few of you on this board have problems when you start changing plates and springs : I do too many long trips to start worrying about my truck letting me sit.
