So, I know my truck needs injectors. At 432,000+ miles, I'm probably over due. I am thinking of going with DPP 75hp's. And might as well go with a #5 plate, and slide er ahead a little. The missing part of the equation is the turbo. What if I just put a used Hx40 on the truck. Should help I would think, but still be cost effective.

I'm sure you'll all catch my sig, but this is my 94 12er. I know the trans is going to hate me, but thats ok, I plan on upgrading as soon as it gives up

Sounds like a good cost effective power combo, those are nice injectors I am running them and like them very much.

this truck is just a pig. I mean its pretty much rediuculus. Is a #5 plate the right one to go with? I need to get some ponies out of this thing without breaking the bank. I'm all for spending money, and doing things correctly, but, the **** thing has almost 450,000. I use the truck every day, but only because I don't want to drive the work truck I was told that I can use for my daily driver. I need to be able to pull my 24' car hauler, full of quads and gear, up these mountain passes without having to put the truck in 2nd at 25mph. I mean, come on, its a diesel, thats what these trucks are made for

TST says use a #6 plate, trans will hold, no other mods are needed.

I already have the governor spring kit. what about the delivery valves? its the original p7100, i suppose they are worn out as bad as the injectors? i want something with power and getty up and go, but i don't want something that smokes super bad. I was hoping the hx40 would clean up most of the smoke. I am living right in town, and i should really get a rats *** how much it smokes, but my conscious is getting the best of me. I should do the injectors soon. #4 is leaking at the top of the injector, the overwhelming diesel fuel smell all day long, and the small puddle on the ground probably aren't the best thing either

I noticed there is a guy in the classifieds selling a ht60 turbo, is that too much turbo? I don't know much about turbos, but that seems big. Would I be able to even spool that? If I could spool it, how much of a headache would it be pulling my trailer, or in town traffic?
