pic's of my separating crankcase vent

my crankcase vent is separating i think
the corner in the first pic has pulled away from the rest of the vent,the area along the top has also. Is this something that needs fixing? it doesn't seem to be leaking. I am running out of funds because I'M going to get inj pump rebuilt and injectors.

Its tough to tell from the pics. There is a layer of insulation on the tappet cover, which is more likely to peel back. The actual cover is stamped steel, so it likely won't just start to peel back.
