Overflow Valve

Trying to change my overflow valve and the new one is differnt by not having the bolt on the top. The new one has a check ball in the top. Will this work? Thanks for the help

Yes it will work the one I put in had the ball on the end as well.

Yes it will, the one I bought on e- bay had the same check ball as you describe, replaced the original OFV with no problem. you will be pleasantly surprised with it...
