Opinions please.....Looking to possibly buy this truck.......

I am looking at a 1997 dodge 3500 slt laramie, 85k original miles, auto, club cab, 2wd, totally decked out. An old man's toy and he pulled his 5th wheel camper. Dealers asking price is 11k.

Guys what you think its worth ?

Anything to look out for ?

Thanks !

If it were 4wd I'd buy it now myself. Do a compression check if you can and drive it in all gears and make sure the tranny works correctly. Drive it on the road and jam on the brakes at 50mps and see which way it pulls if at all. Is the KDP fixed? It will need to bel.Oil leaks, tranny leaks, wheel hub leaks, differential leaks.........it all add up. You can usually get some wiggle room on the guy for the rig, just take advantage of it.
