Oil leak

I just replaced 4 ball joints, idler & pitman arms. While under the truck I noticed a oil leaking from the front of the engine. i'm thinking of replacing the front main seal and KDP if needed this weekend. Would like to get the tst kit but there is not time to ship by the weekend. Is there instructions online for the KDP, and with 318000 miles should i replace anything else while im in there.

also have a #6 plate to install, Local shop is setting my pump timing($70) GS

Nice instructions, with pics. http://www.tstproducts.com/DowelPina.pdf
You can make the tab, from a large "body washer" or any piece of steel.
I didn't remove the radiator, hose, or shroud when I did mine, but it's kind of tight in there.

Use the correct gasket on the timing cover not silicone. If you have a stuborn dowel pin you will need the extra room from the fan shroud.

RTV sealant works quite well

if you let it skin for a few minutes before putting the timing cover back on.. Then retorquing all the bolts to 18ft lbs, I did this and have not had a single leak not even down low where the crank seal is...
