This is a stumper. I am working on a 97 47RE trans whth no fourth and no lockup. The odd thing is, I can manually engage the solenoids for fourth and lockup with the scantool (verified by backprobing the connector at the trans, can hear them cycle.)
When driving, the scan tool displays that the controller is requesting fourth and lockup, but it does not actually engage either solenoid. Wierd. I am of a persuasion that something died in the controller, but wanted to bounce it off the esteemed members of this board. Maybe some one has encountered this before. Have been a lurker here a while, never had one stump me like this.

this is not about your tranny but IC your looking for a 93 2wd Dodge auto. Well I have one I might part with. its in good shape and drives great. It has 185k on it and most of that is over the road miles driveing back and forth to Toledo for school from Cincinnati. its a red and grey reg cab. newer mud tires with great tread left on them. it needs a pass front fender and the hood painted but tother than that its a great truck. shoot me a pricce and I will see if I can let if got for that.
